If you’ve followed me over the years, you’d know how much of a fan I am of products from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®. I’m pretty sure I link the 3D Foam Squares in every other post!

For today’s project, I get to use some products on top of my card for a change. This would be a fabulous project to make en masse for the holidays – the foam embellishments will hold up well through the mail and don’t add much weight to your envelope!

To start, I cut a piece of Bazzill cardstock in Gumdrop to fit the front of my A2 card base. Then I added a stitched rectangle which was die cut from Bazzil cardstock in (Dotted Swiss) Phoenix. To make the “ribbons”, I added two strips of Crafty Power Tape, then used the green foil from the 3D Foam Holiday Embellishment Kit to shine them up.

The foil transfers easily and the Crafty Power Tape is super sticky, so be careful! Burnish slowly, grasshopper! For my foam embellishment, I picked out the bow from the 3D Foam Holiday Embellishment Kit, adhered it to my card, then added green foil to that as well.

The bow ended up being a little too shiny with the foil strips, so I pressed down on the foam with my finger to wrinkle it. That gave it a brushed metallic look – so cool!

Next, I die cut a Tiny Tag from My Favorite Things and stamped the sentiment with Hero Arts Bold ink in Fern.

That tucked nicely under the edge of the bow, and I popped up the end of the tag with a small 3D Foam Square. To finish up, I adhered the panel to the card with an E-Z Runner® Grand Refillable Dispenser.
