A Cute Bunny Card with No-Line Watercoloring

I did some no-line watercoloring over the weekend. This is only my second or third time trying out this technique, but I can see a little progress from my first experiments.

For the bunny on this card, I used Distress Ink in Spun Sugar to stamp the outline. Because the Distress Inks react with water, the line feathered out as I was painting. I love how it makes the bunny look fuzzy 🙂

I did the painting with a Tonic Nuvo Aqua Flow Pen in Soft Rose, which matched up perfectly with Papertrey Ink’s Melon Berry cardstock. And to top it off, a few punched hearts shined up with Nuvo Crystal Glaze. I found that this glaze was much easier to work with than Glossy Accents; it’s not at thick which means fewer bubbles and it spreads evenly.

I’ve been fighting with the spring allergies here in San Antonio this weekend… I will post more good stuff later this week when I get my head back on straight.

As always, thanks for coming by!
